EXPERIENCED representatives from our WYM team will drop anchor in South Florida this week for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBs).
The 62nd annual event will be held over five days at the Bahia Mar Yachting Club from October 27 to 31st, showcasing some of the world’s most luxurious new superyachts.
Yacht Manager Gus Lewis will be in attendance to provide us with the opportunity to meet and greet the owners, captains and crew of our managed fleet – along with others who are involved in the industry.
Gus, who is based in our Fort Lauderdale office, is a well-known figure within the corporate and private sector gaining more than 50 years’ experience as a Captain, Engineer, Yacht Broker, and Yacht Manager.
As a regular feature at the largest in-water boat show in the world, he will be available to discuss yacht management, maintenance, refits, new construction and compliance.
Although some restrictions will be in place because of the Covid-19 pandemic, organisers expect around 80 per cent of the five-day event to be held in open-air spaces.
